Download Parameters

1. Download Parameters
Confirm the site, period and start date which will define the contents of the downloaded dataset. The dataset can be selected from the Dataset Menu, directly above this selection tool.

Select Format Options

2. Select Format Options
Format options may be different depending on the paramaters to be downloaded (tides, meteorological paramaters etc). A range of formats will be available, including ASCII Delimited, CSV or TXT, to name a few options. The preview window will update as the Format setting is changed.

Set the data interval for the data download.
"RAW" will not filter the data and will download each and every reading.
If an interval greater than the "RAW" reading is selected, then the dataset will be averaged so that only one record is produced for the selected interval of time. This is a useful way of making the download file smaller if a data record is required every 15 minutes rather than every one minute, for example.

Data Preview Table

3. Data Preview Table
The preview table shows the first 25 records of what the download file will contain. The table is useful to assess the different format options and check which parameters will be exported.
